How do I decide what size painting to order?
To decide what size painting is right for you, you will need to consider if this piece will be the focal piece or accent piece. You will also need to consider where the picture will be placed. Placement can be on the wall, tabletop, or free-standing easel. In other words you can create a peersonal museum if you like.

I don't see the size painting I want on your list. Can you do a different size?
Yes, that would fall under the Special Request. We will work with you to create the size you need. Please see the tips on choosing a size for your painting and cutting framing costs.

What information is needed to do a painting?
We must receive a good copy of your photo and a deposit. The photo can be 4x6, 3x5 or digital. We have worked with photos smaller than 3x5. Digital photos can be sent via email. Please note that the photo should be a good copy DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS.

When will you start my painting?
Once we receive all of the required infomation, we give it to the Artist to begin. The Artist will then do prelimenary workups and contact you via email.

How long does it take to complete my painting?
It takes approximately 2-3 weeks for your painting to be complete. This also includes corresponding via email.

What is the Artist Descretion Statement?
To keep the intended subject as the main focal point of the painting, the Artist will use her descretion for the artwork. This includes and is not limited to truncating picture or subject matter or omitting foreground and background objects. It may also include coordinating or changing the colors of clothing to simplifiying or omitting patterns and prints on them. This will be discussed or conveyed via email or phone call before painting is started. Most changes will be subtle and enhance the final painting but the overall matter will preserve the memory.

How does the Artist Descretion effect my painting?
The Artist uses his or her descrestion to keep the intended subject as the main focal point of the painting. This means making changes to ensure there only one focal point with no distractions. Most changes are subtle and enhance the final painting but the overall matter will preserve the memory. This is also used keep the painting process moving on schedule.

Do you take special orders?
Yes, just fill out an Artform making sure you state all that you require and we will work hard to accomendate your special requests.

Do you offer a Rush Service for paintings?
Yes we can accommendate most requests to rush an order through. This service bumps your order up to the head of the line. It will also require that you submit the required information quickly because the Artist can't start until the neccesary information is received.

Do you offer Rush Delivery?
If the Carrier provides Rush Delivery for the size package we will use the service. Just inform us that you would like this service.

What delivery or shipping service do you offer?
We can ship using USPostal Service, UPS, FedEx, DHL. You can just tell us who you prefer or we'll use the one we feel will best suit the shipping need. This in because some carriers don't deliver to all areas and their rates may vary.

Do you offer a discount program?
The only discount program we have at this time is our Referral Program. We do offer specials(via our mailing list),throughout the year and we have appreciation rates.

Do you have a Referral Program?
Yes we do. We have a progressive referral program. Which means you receive a certain point level when your referrals purchase a painting through us. The progressive part means that the amount of the points increases somewhat in proportion to the number of referrals. There is a ceiling amount for the points you can receive but you can always use this benefit.

Can you give me the details of the Referral Program?
The Referral Program is based on the amount of people you send to us. The point levels are assigned to you when your referrals purchase a painting through us. With 1-4 referrals you are at the 25 point level; 5-8 referrals you are at the 35 point level; 9-10 referrals you are at the 50 point level(highest available). You automatically receive the referral level discount every time you purchase a painting. The discount is equal to the point level you are at. Once a referral level is assigned to your account, it can be combined with other offers because you went the extra mile to help us

Can I combine my discounts with specials?
Although you can take advantage of all of our Discounts and Special offers, you can only use one per painting. The only exception to this is the referral program. The referral level is a number that is assigned to your account, and can be combined with other offers because you went the extra mile to help us.

What are appreciation rates?
These are deeply discounted prices that we extend to our returning clients and customers that place multiple orders.

Why do you offer appreciation rates to just your returning or multiple order clients?
We give them special consideration because we feel that they would like more than just a Thank you. In other words because they like our product and return we are willing to put our money where our mouth is.

Do you offer other types of paintings?
We do work with the other painting mediums but our current setup only allows us to offer Soft Pastel paintings.

How can you offer genuine artwork at such a low price?
We can make this type of offer because Soft Pastels do not require the use of harsh chemicals. They do not have a prolong setting up or drying time which means we don't have to wait days to lay more paint. We can quickly make changes/adjustments, We use the most inexpensive(not cheap quality) art medium and we buy in bulk from a large art supply house.

Do I need to reply to every email that I receive from you?
You should reply to all emails sent from us only if you have an active order. The email sent during that time will contain information about your painting or an invoice. It will be very important to reply to all of those emails quickly because it effects the completion time of your painting.

How do I mat and frame the painting?
You can take the painting to your local framer or art store and they can help you select them or they can make the selections for you.

Can I mat and frame the painting myself?
Yes you can. Just make sure you use special acid-free or archival materials(tape,matboard). This keeps your painting free of nasty yellow marks.

Can you give suggestions on choosing the right mat color and frame?
When choosing the mat color you want to drawing from the colors in the painting itself. You then want to coordinate the mat color with the frame color.
When choosing a frame you want to consider several things: Does the mat color/texture compliment it? If you're going with an elaborate frame you want the mat to be almost invisible. Where will the piece be placed(the size of the area, wall, or space)? Is it a focal point or accent piece? Is it part of a collection of will it alone? You also want it to compliment or fit in with the other decor/funiture in the room. If you're creating a personal museum then the sky is the limit.

Is there a way to cut the cost of framing?
If you know what you want painted you can shop for a frame first. Pick out a ready made frame as opposed to a custom frame. Then order the size according to the matted view(ask the person in the framing area if it isn't marked on the frame). They will want to know if you want a 2" or 3" matted picture and the size of the picture. You can have them tell you what size picture can be placed in it if you use a 2" or 3" mat. -OR- you can email us with the frame size. It's just easier to ask them before you buy a frame or make numerous trips to the store.

We will make every effort to return your photos to you. However, the photo could be damaged and we will not be responsible for damaged or lost photos.

All of the information that you submit to us is considered confidential. We DO NOT sell you infomation. We use the information for the expressed purpose of providing you with the best service possible. It is also used to keep you informed of any specials, events or changes that we may have.
